George Herbert Walker Bush (1924–2018) was the 41st
President of the United
States from 1989 to 1993. Prior
to assuming the presidency, Bush served as the 43rd Vice President of the United States
from 1981 to 1989. He died on
November 30, 2018, aged 94, at his home in Houston.
On December 3, 2018, Bush became
the 12th U.S. President to lie in state in the Rotunda of the U.S. Capitol. Following a funeral on December 6, his coffin was brought by train to
the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library in College Station, Texas where he
